Viktoriya Fedorchuk is a Self-Defence Instructor, Shotokan Karate Black Belt Trainer, Empowerment-based Therapist, and Registered Clinical Counsellor. She has taught self-defence classes across New Westminster, Vancouver and UBC since 2010. Viktoriya focuses on empowering participants through physical and verbal training. Her main goal is that each participant leaves her class feeling confident and powerful, and is more empowered in their daily life.

 

Viktoriya received her 1st degree Black Belt in 2013 through the Tashu Martial Arts Centre under the training of Bill Hunter. She is trained in feminist-based self defence through the Warrior Sisters, a women’s self-defence organization. Viktoriya has a Bachelor of Psychology and Women’s Studies through SFU and a Masters of Counselling Psychology from UBC, specializing in women’s issues and feminist therapy. Viktoriya is passionate about empowering women through self-defence skills, counselling therapy, and empowerment training.
